David Lefebre
Erie, PA
Preferred weight: 1/8 - 3/8 oz.
The small size and special coating really allows me to eliminate
hardware.
The bait presentation is a lot more subtle because of not having
to use a larger sized weight to get the bait in the strike
zone.

Shaw Grigsby
Gainsville, FL
Preferred weight: 3/4 oz.
The small size and dense material that these weights are made up
of really gives you better sensitivity and feel of the bottom.
These weights are smooth bored for easy pegging.

Terry Scroggins
Palatka, FL
Preferred weight: 1 ¼-ounce Penetrator weight for punching
the bait through the thick cover.
The smaller physical size and slick coating of the tungsten steel
weights really penetrate heavy floating vegetation and underwater
grass
beds.

Penetrater is the ultimate weight system. Penetrater weights are
designed perfectly for penetrating the heaviest cover with ease.
I think that’s one of the most important things is just how
easily these weights penetrate vegetation. The other factor is the
tungsten used. Having the right material and the right size is
a big asset. The fish can’t really
hang onto the weight and there is no penetration with the fish’s
teeth. It slides very easily through the mouth, which allows the
angler increased, efficient and cleaner hook-ups. Penetraters are
just indestructible weights and last forever. I still have one
of the original one-ounce Penetraters that I got from Timmy Horton
in my tackle box and I guarantee you I’ve
caught over 400 fish on that one weight. Now it’s scratched
up big time but the weight still works just perfectly. The Penetrater
weight is the ultimate for ease of penetration and increased, efficient,
cleaner hook-ups.
